It is a useful book for those who study Italian language and, in particular, the culture of Sardegna.

I bought this book because I already had one from a few years ago and I needed one that wasn't marked on to use for my women's Bible study. The charts, timelines and information are laid out in an easy to understand format. This is my favorite of all of Phillips commentaries. It is really useful and great for a quick overview of a particular topic or passage of scripture. I even recommended it to our pastor.\n\nYou do have to really read the material to apply the information. This is not an entry level resource. It is definitely for a more advanced teacher. That said, not all that I teach are advanced and even the new class members found it helpful.\n\nI definitely recommend this book!
