Hey Y'all… let me tell you about this controller right here. snapping fingers This thing is LEGIT! I'm talking genuine Microsoft, baby!! none of that knockoff nonsense that breaks after two weeks like it's got a gambling problem.\n\nYou know what's crazy? This joint was actually IN STOCK! Do you understand how rare that is these days? I'm out here refreshing websites like I'm trying to get Beyoncé tickets, and BAM!! Walmart comes through clutch! Had this bad boy ready to ship faster than my uncle runs from child support.\n\nNow I done bought fake controllers before!! looking all official on the outside, but then the buttons start sticking like they need therapy. But THIS controller? Smooth as my mans voice after a glass of cognac. The wireless connection stronger than my opinions about my dad's cooking.\n\nI'm playing games I ain't touched in YEARS because this controller makes everything feel premium. My thumbs are having a religious experience on these analog sticks, I kid you not!\n\nBottom line: If you want a real controller that actually works and doesn't make you question your life choices, get this one. Walmart keeping it 100 with the authentic products.

This controller feels great in hand and is very comfortable even during longer gaming sessions. The buttons are responsive, and the thumbsticks have good control, which makes gameplay feel smooth and accurate. The textured grip on the back is a nice touch and helps prevent slipping.\nI also like that it connects easily to different devices. I've used it with both my console and PC without any issues. Setup was quick, and the connection has been stable.\nThe white color looks clean and modern, although it may show dirt over time with regular use. Overall, it's a solid controller that performs well and feels reliable for everyday gaming.

The top buttons on break on these controllers. Specifically the R1 button breaks always. It's the best controller I've 3ever used for 1vs1 fighting games. That's bc of the D-Pad. Best design of all time so far. Street Fighter 6's Heavy Punch is the R1. If you open one up its easy to see how or why this button breaks. It's a little piece of straight plastic that is straight but angled inwards sliding at an angle perpendicular to the real button inside. The angle is what breaks the R1.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is your basic controller. Easy to use, easy to charge. No issues connecting. I like the feel of the buttons and over all control. Haven't had it long enough to say on durability but most Xbox controls don't last long. My only issue is more with the price being cheaper online then in store.

This Xbox Core Controller that came out with the Xbox Series S/X works flawlessly with the Xbox One, no issues so far.
I did have to buy a USB-C cable to be able to hook it up to the Xbox One X but I did not use the batteries it came with, I prefer to use it wired, no batteries are required that way.
Controller is more solid than the Xbox One controller, higher quality parts as well, size and shape are the same and it weights no different then the original controller without batteries.
The Xbox One will detect this controller right out of the box once you plug it in with a USB-C cable and it will tell you it needs updated.

Just to preface, I purchased this controller while it was on sale for roughly ~$40. That aside, it paired and works great with my windows 11 laptop! All it needs is two (2) AA Batteries, Bluetooth, hold the sync button, select it on windows, and you're done! I was a little weary of it since I hadn't use this specific model of Xbox controller yet, but I really like the new capture button! On windows 11, tapping the capture button takes a screenshot using Gamebar, and if you hold it for roughly three (3) seconds, it starts recording, again using Gamebar. The textured grip on the the sides are nice too.

I got this controller for a good price, 39.00. I own and have owne several Microsoft Wireless Xbox controller and they work well and I get a lot of use out of them. The major issue with them is that eventually the joysticks will start to drift and get to the point that you can't really use them. The stick drift might start in a month or it might be a year or not at all, you never know but a lot depend on how much they are used. Microsoft could fix this issue with using hall effect joysticks. Still over all it's a very good controller and worth the price especially if you can get it on sale.

This is an original Xbox controller. The one thing I do like about the controller is you can hear the mechanical part of the controller the clicks the clicks the touches as heavy. That's the one thing that separates those controllers to the cheap ones is how light it is and how quiet it is when you press down on the buttons other than that it's Xbox controller is solid. You could bring the price down but you know that's a wish in the world. I ain't gonna never get that one but yeah drop the price will have a good day.

It's exactly what you would expect. An Xbox controller. It's great for now while it's fresh out of the box, but it most likely won't be long before it eventually develops stick drift and requires a solder job or replacement. \n\nThe controller color is pretty cool. I recommend getting the controller if you can find it on sale for a reasonable price like I was able to. Otherwise, I'd say you're better off saving your money and getting an elite controller instead.

Overview / First Impressions: The...
Reviewed on www.bestbuy.com·AmyLynn
Overview / First Impressions:\nThe Velocity Green edition arrives with the same form factor and internals as Microsoft’s recent Xbox wireless controllers, but the vivid green finish gives it personality. It feels like the “fun” version of a serious tool. The matte surface is pleasantly grippy, not slick. In the box: the controller itself, minimal documentation, and (usually) AA battery support — no rechargeable battery pack included by default.\n\nWhat Works Well:\nThe shape is familiar (if you’ve used modern Xbox controllers), and it suits a wide range of hand sizes. Textured grips on the triggers, bumpers, and back case help during longer sessions — less slipping, better control. The hybrid D-pad feels responsive and precise (though not perfect), especially for fighting games or platformers. Xbox Wireless + Bluetooth — works seamlessly with Series X, S, older Xbox One systems, PC, and many cloud / mobile setups.\nUSB-C support is a welcome fallback (plug & play) when wireless isn’t ideal (e.g. for low latency). Headset jack (3.5 mm) is present, so you don’t lose out on audio / voice chat options. Microsoft claims up to 40 hours of usage under ideal conditions. That’s optimistic but realistic in lighter use. Because it uses AA batteries natively, you have flexibility (rechargeables, battery packs, etc.). The console doesn’t ship with a built-in rechargeable battery, so that’s both a plus (flexible) and a minus (extra cost if you want “plug-in” convenience). The Share button is a nice addition: you can snap screenshots or record clips depending on how you configure it. Using the Xbox Accessories app, you can remap buttons or create custom profiles. That gives you some power to tailor it to your playstyle. The bright Velocity Green finish looks bold without being garish.\n\nWhere It Falls Short:\nBecause it’s not modular (e.g. paddles or swappable components), it’s not as customizable as higher-end pro controllers. The 40-hour claim often assumes minimal vibration, moderate use. With heavy vibration and active lights, battery life shrinks. Some users might prefer a built-in recharge solution (USB-C only, internal battery) — here you're reliant on your own battery choices. The green finish, while eye-catching, might show scuffs or grime over time more than darker models.\nOccasional minor input lag or connection drop in Bluetooth mode (especially in crowded wireless environments) — though for most users this won’t be a dealbreaker.\n\nVerdict & Who It’s For:\nIf you want a reliable, stylish controller that works across Xbox, PC, and mobile, and you don’t need full pro-level modular customization, this is a very solid pick. The Velocity Green color gives it character without compromising function. I’d lean 4 out of 5 stars — one point off for trade-offs around battery and extreme customization. But in everyday use? It holds up well.

The actual Microsoft brand controllers are rarely discounted no matter what store you go to, so being able to get this for $15 off in a pretty raspberry pink color was great. It comes with batteries, so that's also nice. I've used this controller for about 18 hours so far and I still have 90% battery to go. It's a very comfortable and responsive gaming controller. I've connected it to my PC quite easily.

What can I say. It's an XBOX controller. As ergonomic as ever. Curved in all the right places. At $40 on sale, it's a no-brainer purchase if you are in need of a second one. From what I have read, this is compatible with an android device and also a PC via Bluetooth, unlike the 1st generation XBOX ONE ones. I have not tried this function yet. For the sale price, I would stick with this 1st party product.

Bought for around $50 plus tax and this controller feels valued at just around a good price.

This controller is substantially better than the one that came with my series X. I had to replace the original because I stepped on it in the middle of the night on accident but I would recommend upgrading to this anyway. My old controller had pretty ridiculous stick drift. This has none. The buttons are crisper and more responsive. It seems like it's just put together better.
