Stellar performance! I have an old Logitech set similar to these from 15 years ago. They only have one input and no THX certification, but they still sound amazing. The problem with those is that the proprietary connection for the subwoofer does not stay connected reliably anymore, so the sound goes in and out. The Z625 solved that issue by using a locking RS232 type connection, so there should never be a connectivity issue. I almost bought a similar looking Klipsch THX set for $99, but the Logitech is rated at twice the continuous wattage output, and of course it has an optical input. The other great thing about the Z625 is that they have 3 different types of wired inputs: 1/8" stereo plug, RCA stereo plugs, and the SPDIF optical input. That is unique on its own, but the unit can also automatically switch between the 3 inputs with no user intervention. This allows you to leave 3 different sources plugged in all the time and the speakers just work. Finally, they sound amazing. They have seemingly limitless volume; deep, powerful bass; and fantastic midrange and treble. Unlike some other satellite systems that can be too bass heavy, the Z625 produces a balanced, accurate sound field. These features make the Z625 system somewhat unique in the world. Get a set before they vanish. I use mine in my video editing studio and as monitors for voiceover and music production. Though I do not use them in a home theater capacity, they would be an amazing addition to any large screen TV for an unparalleled 3.1 home theater experience. Bravo Logitech. These speakers are in a class by themselves. I would buy them again and again.

Great Addition for Quality Sound
Reviewed on www.walmart.com·AnElectronicShopper
Got these speakers to be able to really enjoy my Logitech Squeezebox Internet Radio. The radio only has one speaker and although it sounds ok, it needed stereo speakers in order to really hear the sound correctly. Added these speakers to the Squeezebox and what an enormous improvement it immediately made. The sound is amazing. The bass, is easily adjustable and really adds to the complete sound of the speaker system. The sub does not rattle or add muddy sound at all. This is a quality sound system that will add so much to almost any electronic device you may already have. I hooked it up to my led tv and wow, what a difference it did make.\nThe sub module can easily be hidden behind a curtain or furniture out of view if necessary.\nThe speaker wires are not really long but, they do provide enough cable to place them far enough apart to provide good stereo separation. Nicely finished and not cheap looking.\nI would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a good speaker system at an affordable price that will simply add dimension to your listening enjoyment.\nYou will love the sound it provides your ears. My wife who normally doesn't comment on sound said, "wow, those sound really good"!\nYes, they do sound very, very good..

This system is incredible, and competes with systems costing far more! I ruled out the Logitech Z 506 because the clutter of six speakers in an already cluttered space made no sense. The Z 623 is the only system that's THX certified which is George Lucas' company certification, which means very high quality. With 200 Watts, I was concerned how well the system would play at very low volume late at night so I don't disturb my neighbors and was told that with THX cert. it will play great at any volume - it does! The THX is right on the speakers at the top in the photo.\nIt's whisper quiet on low and turns up very gradually and sounds great all the way! It's got so much power, I haven't gone above half volume except to test it and usually am between 1/3 and 1/2.\nThe huge sub woofer truly rumbles when it needs to with NO DISTORTION, and I usually have that at less than halfway also. Highs are crisp, and midtones are full. Tested it with Star Wars and it blew me away!\nThere are inputs for headphones and other audio devices as well.

Reviewed on www.walmart.ca·AidansDaddy
PROS:\n*The subwoofer is compact in size, yet produces amazingly strong bass.\n*The speakers may be small, but the mids and highs are impressive, very little distortion during loud action scenes and good/clear vocals, too.\n*Very loud, I only need to turn volume up half-way and it's enough to fill a master bedroom.\n*Price is very competitive and reasonable for what you get, a worthwhile investment no matter if it's for improved audio for movies, games or music.\n*A definite upgrade for anyone looking for a simple 2.1 setup.\n\nCONS:\n*Main speakers' performance seems directional, less impressive in a large room.\n*The cords are a little too short, sub and main speakers must be close together when attached to source (tv, blu-ray player, etc.).\n*Sub isn't wireless, less convenient.\n*No remote control included.\n\nDespite the complaints, I still rate Logitech's z623 as being very good (4 of 5). Although I don't recommend using this as a main home theater set up in a large room, I do recommend it as an affordable 2.1 audio upgrade to be used with a bedroom HDTV or used with a desktop/laptop computer.

Reviewed on www.walmart.com·anonymous
I recently hooked these speakers up to my TV and was immediately impressed by the sound quality. The bass is powerful enough to rattle the floor, creating a cinematic experience in the comfort of my own home. One of my favorite features is the inclusion of separate knobs for treble and bass. This lets me fine-tune the sound mix to suit what I'm watching (sometimes I want more bass and sometimes I want less). That level of control makes a big difference to me. I consider it a huge improvement over speakers that offer only a single volume knob. Being able to adjust the bass independently was a key deciding factor for me.\n\nThe only downside is the lack of a remote. If you're using them with a computer, that's probably not an issue. But if you're using them with a TV, needing to get up to adjust volume or settings might be inconvenient—something to keep in mind.

Who says that the age of wired audio is dead?
Reviewed on www.bestbuy.com·iOSmkim
With L-R RCA support for a turntable (for deeper bass as low as 31Hz), TOSLink Support for an XBox One X, and 2 3.5mm Stereo Jacks, there is no incentive to deduce that the age of wired audio is dead yet. The best thing was that when I turned it on, no audio artifacts, so this is one of Logitech's long-running projects they had--even if before they purchased Van Halen's Ultimate Ears Company from a long time ago. I would purchase these speakers again and again and again until I'm dead broke. Oh, and the wires are collapsible as well so you don't have to worry about re-installation issues. Just use state-of-the-art Cables from AudioQuest and you're ready to go!!!

This is the fourth set of speakers I bought for my small 32 inch home theater. The others cost $75 to $100, all sounded very good; the best were Genius SP-HF 1800As, an excellent choice for the money. Still, I wasn't satisfied and wanted more powerful speakers with more punch at the low end. I'm thrilled with the Z623s! The clarity, definition, and sound stage are remarkable. To my ears the quality of the audio equals that heard in a commercial movie theater. If you've planned to pay no more than $100 for speakers, I urge you to spend a modest $34 more and get these! It may be the smartest purchase you ever make.

Im an avid gamer playing games like COD 4 and Quake 4 the sound is almost scary. I gave it 5 stars all the way i believe there definately worth the price and exceeded the sound quality that I was expecting. Mad props to Logitech for building an exceptional speaker system for laptops/pc's. I highly reccomend these to fellow soldiers who love to game.

I bought this to replace the aging Klipsch Pro media 5.1! I have a Pro media 2.1 too but I decided to go with this Logitech Z625 because it gives me the option of optical connection to my Mac Pro 2012 which sounds better than analog! also power on and off is right on the right speakers and I don't have to reach down to the back of the sub-woofer to do so. This Z625 sounds great with good tight base. Make sure to place your sub right underneath the computer desk for full effect. As for longevity and durability, I need more time with it but so far so good.

Z623 is a winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No complaints! The Z623 system is a high quality, reliable product at a fair price. The design is not as nice as HK, Bose, etc., but the Z623 is a winner as far as performance per dollar. The sound quality of the tweeters and bass is impressive for a solution in this price point. I am extremely pleased with my purchase decision and give an enthusiastic endorsement of the Z623 in your speaker system search.

They do however fall a little flat with music. If using on pc like me its easy enough to download an equalizer program and mess with the sound profile for better treble. 10/10 would recommend. You don't get what you pay for with these..... you get more then what you pay for!

I was psyched to try the optical interconnect because my laptock dock (CalDigit) has optical out. One flaw though, with the Z625 when using the optical cable, is you have almost no control over the volume especially when listening quietly. Because the DAC is onboard, the volume can only be adjusted with the volume knob on the right speaker. The volume knob is mechanical and at low volumes, one channel cuts out. Too bad the volume is not digital, or even a better quality knob. Long story short, switched to the 3.5mm patch cable to regain full control over the volume.

These speakers have amazingly great sound (you can hear the words clearly-music is great too like being at a concert). I use it on a TV and unfortunately there is no remote thus you cannot change the volume (only manually from the left speaker). It is not useable with Netflix, Amazon video or any app listed on bottom of screen (non cable ). I will update more as I just received it a few days ago. I have it connected to a Samsung 65 tv as the original Samsung sound bar was not clear and I have hearing loss in my right ear.

I also like that I can connect two computers into this one system, simultaneously (actually, there are three inputs, but one is optical, and I think only works on gaming consoles). Now I don't need two sets of speakers.
