Works without any extra setup on Zoom, I'm using it on a PC running Linux Mint, originally Cinnamon 17.3 then switched to xfce 19.1. No problems with sound or video and my image in the gallery view is as good as others using iPads and other tablets and webcams. Field of view is similar to other webcams, about half as wide as your distance from the camera. The sales image can make you think this is huge but it's just a little wider than the lens in reading glasses. It must plug into a USB port like a USB keyboard or mouse, not the USB on the monitor as a previous reviewer tried so the cord is short if you want to use it some distance from your computer

I installed this webcam on a pc using Windows 10 Home 64 bit operating system. There were no drivers to install; since Windows 10 automatically installed them. I did have to go to settings and turn on camera and microphone options. I am impressed with this cam! You can take a still shot in 720p HD, or make a 720p HD video if you so wish. I did discover it takes a good quality picture in dim or bright environments. The built in microphone works well too. The clamp/mount design is padded, so as to avoid scratching your monitor. Logitech has always produced excellent products that I use in my home and business and this little webcam is no exception. Very easy to open, install and run. 4 simple steps, very intuitive. Software and drivers load off the product itself. On line help is easily available, but I doubt you will need it. It is an HD camera which gives the images much more clarity and “pop”. Installs on the top of our monitors with a universal clip that works fine. One small drawback is you may find the usb cord a little short and that may limit where you install the body of the camera. I am very pleased with this webcam. I have Windows 7, so I had to go to the Logitech website to download the software, per the instructions included with the camera. But it was an easy download and easy installation. The image produced by this camera is super crisp. The people I Skype with immediately comment on how much it is improved over my old camera. The image is sharp, the colors are vibrant, and it tracks motion much better. Excellent product. My only criticism would be that I wish the cable were a little longer. I might end up buying a USB extension for a couple of bucks to get a little more slack, but that's a pretty minor problem. Overall I am very pleased with the camera.

I used the Logitech C270 for the first time this morning to Skype with my son who lives in Beijing. It was amazing and surpassed all expectations! We hadn't Skyped for a very long time, and the last time I was using my laptop, which has since "given up the ghost". He could not get over the dramatic improvement and clarity this webcam has! Noticed immediately that it was HD. What makes it even more phenomenal is the $20 price tag! Found it in my local Walmart, but used Site to Store to save $10. Talk about an unbelievable deal! I would highly encourage this webcam to anyone. (This is the first one I've ever installed too.)

My son paid over $100.00 for his camera so I was very skeptical paying under $30.00 for a camera with a built-in microphone. Being electronically challenged, I read most of the reviews for this product and several others but decided on this Logitech HD Webcam. It works just as good as my son's. Just plug it in the USB port, sign up with a server (Skype for me) and off you go. I do not understand any of the complicated technology jargon; all I can tell you is that it works GREAT!

I needed a webcam for a client call the next day and I did not have one for my new PC so I pulled up the 'ol BB website and for less than half a Benjamin, had my camera within the hour! It is foldable and can sit easily on top of my monitor for a good face-to-face presentation. Highly recommend! BTW my Teams meeting went great and everything worked without any need to add fancy software/bloatware. This is the way.

This HD webcam is really a 4.5 out of 5, but it's better than a 4. The video quality is a 5, the setup is a 5. However, how the camera sits on top of your laptop is a 4 or less. It doesn't clip on as it says, rather, it SETS on top of your screen. As that is the case, you can't really move your laptop with the camera on top of the screen, it will fall off. That said, it's a great value for the money.

This basic web cam was easy to set up and has functioned well. No problems so far. Does best in bright room light, fair in dim light. Sound is OK for voice, don't know about music. Clips on flat screen monitor so viewer gets a head-on view of your face as you view your screen. Good for basic Skype sessions.

COVID hit, I was in a scramble to get webcams for most employees. This item came in at a reasonable price and it simply works. \n\n\nI wish it had a tripod mounting screw, but for my everyday needs it is perfect, stays on most monitors just fine. \n\n\nElectric tape solves the lack of tripod screw the one time i needed to mount it on a tripod. I have a Mac mini so I needed a usb camera if I wanted people to see me on those Zoom calls. Dirt simple, just plug into an available USB port. The fact that you can unclip it from the monitor and point it around is useful and fun--something the built in cameras on a laptop can't do. Excellent price point. Did not test the microphone as I use a separate higher end usb mic.

I bought this product so I could still see and talk to my sister once she moved away. It meets all of my expectations and it works very well. Best of all, it wasn't all that expensive. I would reccomend this product for anyone who just wants to video chat with family and friends.

I’ve purchased this camera solely for zoom virtual school and it is just ok only because at times the video is not at clear or bright but it serves it’s purpose. I’ll recommend it to a friend however if you need great quality video you might be disappointed.

I hav always wanted one of these for my pc, and now with all the zoom and webcam they are a must. Still like using my phone but more freedom with a larger screen. Easy installation, plugged in, took picture of \nBarcode on box went straight to video. As my great grandsonsays easy-pesy. Hadn't realized how i looked up close.

This is an excellent 1080 webcam. Easy to set up and high quality video. My only complaint (not worth dinging a star) is that it only attaches "easily to a laptop". The bottom clip needs a standard tripod threaded attachment so the webcam can be used with a mini tripod. Then the WebCam can be used with a desktop.

I expected to have difficulty getting this to work with my machine. I was pleasantly surprised that everything went smoothly; I had no issues. The Walmart write-up about this camera did not include that it would work with Win 10; it does. I did recommend this to another, and she purchased the same camera.

Needed a better camera for Zoom. This one is 3MP which is fine. The one feature I like is the fact it is fixed focus. It is not always hunting for the perfect focus, The autofocus on some cameras is very distracting. If you use good lighting and a little sound damping it works very well for the price.

Got this item for use with my old laptop running Linux. The computer's own camera not useful for zoom etc chats due to placement of the computer--needed a webcam to mount on my large external screen. This webcam worked perfectly and easily out of the box with my system. And it fits my budget, too!

I had issues with people being able to hear me on Zoom calls. The tutorial that I downloaded was not easy for me to follow to download the drivers needed, but eventually I got them and now the camera works.

Great 2-in-1 product (microphone and camera). Not as cumbersome as a desktop webcam. During the time of my search, cheapest camera around for such a well known brand.
